What it's for
Dependent fields are fields whose possible values depend on each other. For example, a product has the attributes 'Type,' 'Brand,' and 'Model': the list of brands depends on the selected type, and the list of models depends on the brand. The widget adds dropdown lists whose values depend on the value in another field. Absolutely any database can be connected — for example, a car database with model and trim selection depending on the make. The number of fields in a group is unlimited. A field cannot be filled in until its parent field is completed; subsequent fields offer only the matching options.
